The Traveler and his TRADE

Obviously our Trade collection isn't for trade (per say) we just like the name. However, it does consist of a few key items all shakers & movers should have.

We know from experience what every stylish traveler needs, Trade.

The world is calling for us to explore it and as a man or lady you must do so. Whether it be to find new beaches, business, long distant commute or attend far away events you must make it happen with a smart approach. You could be a globe trotting jet setter or an adventurous weekender and still need the same basics. We have you covered if it can be made with a sewing machine.

Of course we know the Travel channel makes it seem a lot easier then it really is to travel but we persist. For the past year or so I have had the opportunity to travel quite a bit and live outside of my comfort zone/bounds for great gains. Through these travels and extended stays came inspiration. The inspiration to create an accessory collection called TRADE. Obviously our Trade collection isn't for trade (per say) we just like the name. However, it does consist of a few key items all shakers & movers should have. A few of those items are our original duffel bag released a few seasons back with some minor updates, an all new Backpack perfect for the road and carry on along with an optional matching travel/toiletry bag.

When products are purchased from our official website the customer will have the option for embroidered initial and patches to be added as well. All for a reasonable price.

Along with these new releases we will have new renditions of our all original shoelaces and camera straps, Plus, well it's a surprise

( and do well).

Yeah KingsTribe gets down and The Seen Mag got footage of some of the action. Along with this short write up (link below) shot by Raymond Kim we made a video (to be posted a little later) showcasing some new product soon to be released for the winter.

Enjoy the images until we post the video.

New Machine to the Workroom

We love to get new machines in the workshop and this is new beauty a definite new crush. Welcome everybody, our new Chandler Bar Tack machine. We don't know exactly what year it was made but we do know she's an old one. Instead of the traditional bar tack pattern that is a solid zig zag ranging in .25 to .5 inches this one is a looping pattern that goes side to side in a .25 inch pattern.

She will be put to use for reinforcing heavy seams on product from back packs to shirt pockets.

Look out for the stitch on the next KingsTribe product you get.

What is Culture to YOU??

How would you explain culture to someone who has no idea of what it is?

What are some cultures? New or old?

New product: For my photographer friends.

Check out the new camera straps for the shooters. One or two of each being made but always possible to make another. These straps are detailed and made with the cameras safety in mind (also while making  them I couldn't help but think of a photographer hanging on for life and the strap breaking) so they are made strong and to last.

They are made with 3/8th inch nylon straps and all kinds of fabrics. Above from left to right: is brown and tan wool hounds tooth with faux ostrich skin and brown strap, camo cotton with black faux leather and black strap, black paisley print with black leather and burgundy nylon straps, tan wool herringbone with black faux leather and red nylon, purple valor with weaved faux leather and black nylon straps.

These straps are made for the artistic artist who make art everywhere art is, which is all over. You will be asked where you got it and if there are more like it but there are none. You will want to take more picture of you with your camera in the mirror. To the right is a native print on a comfy knit with a denim inside support for strength. The faux leather looks worn and the burgundy nylon straps finish it off nicely.

The cost is low and the quality is high. A lifetime warranty is on all hand-crafted items and is obviously on the camera straps as well. Starting at $25 up to $50 for certain fabrics and cuts. They are costed to be affordable, considering most camera equipment is crazy expensive. Get one for outside shoots and one for the studio.

These will be debuting at the POP-UP-SHOP #2 On the Spot Shop on August 31st and September 2nd 2012.
